The Fields Director is responsible for obtaining field and light permits, directing field maintenance, and updating the officers and membership about field rules and requirements for use. Duties include:
- Provide to the league a schedule of which teams are responsible for opening and closing the fields for game days.
- Aid the Assistant Commissioner in field permits, ordering of softballs, bases, lineup cards, and other field equipment.
- Inspect fields after rain on game days and after discussion with officers, make announcement for canceled games due to rain.
- Manage league storage and work with the officers to store any field equipment throughout the year.
